Berlin based artist Nero Trebl composed his first songs as a singer-songwriter using only an acoustic guitar. Heavily inspired by 80s synth-pop and music by Nick Cave and Tool, he developed a more electronic sound featuring synthesizers and drum machines.

Drawing his inspiration from dark corners of the subconscious, Nero Trebl’s lyrics emphasize melancholic synth-driven melodies accompanied by unrefined vocals while unusual beat patterns and self-made samples often cross and mix different genres.

After years of experimenting and recording, Nero Trebl produced and self-released his debut album „Archetype“ in 2019. Besides creating new sounds and writing songs for his follow-up album, he also works on visual artworks and music videos.
